The selected intern, in collaboration with and under the guidance of their supervisor, will work on the Access to Quality Formal Education and Skills Development Programmes for the most vulnerable children and adolescents. Deliverables: The intern is expected to support and improve programme documentation as well as knowledge management related to access of children to formal education and provision of skills development programmes to the children in upper-secondary level of formal education.   The intern will:   ? Support for the initial review of progress reports ? Support events/meetings/workshops logistics by pursuing tasks related to participants, venue checks etc. ? Collate event/workshop reports and share with relevant officer. ? Check dashboard data of relevant programmes and verify the entries. ? Support translation between English and Turkish and vice versa of key programme related documents. ? Under the direction of the Germany Team Senior Advisor, the intern will support various aspects of external relations, development and implementation of partner strategies and approaches for member states and respective thematic areas. Main tasks include:   1. Learn by supporting Partnership, Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Strategies with Member States: - Under the supervision of the Senior Advisor, contribute to the partnership, advocacy, and resource mobilization strategies for assigned Member States. - Maintain up-to-date information on partner and income trends, analyze development assistance policies and keep resource partner profiles updated. - Support implementation of engagement plans and activities with the objectives of (1) increasing core and quality resources; (2) identifying possible sources of new and continued funding; and (3) advocating for child rights with selected partner countries.   2. Learn by supporting the Senior Advisor and other senior management for their strategic engagement with government partners and international forums: - Assist with the organization of partner consultations and other convenings with assigned partners. - Support with preparing briefing notes and any other documentation required by Senior Management for visits to and from assigned partners. - Participate in and summarize results from internal and external meetings with assigned resource partners. - Assist the Senior Advisor in managing day-to-day contacts with partners.   3. Assist the Public Partnerships Division and UNICEF at large in partner engagement at multilateral fora. 4. Learn by supporting the Senior Advisor and the broader Germany Team, as required, in providing guidance and support to UNICEF Field Offices on various partnerships matters, including contribution management and donor recognition.   To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have?  - An academic and experience background in Social Sciences or related field, including a relevant background and interest in international relations, development and humanitarian assistance, resource mobilization and external relations. - Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years. - Applicants must be at least 18 years old. - Good command of Microsoft Windows working environment and applications, Excel, ability to produce presentations. - Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency contexts is considered an asset. - No immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.​​​​​​​ - Fluency in English and German is required. The position will assist in the arrangements of the task team meetings. Contribute to the development of enhancements to PODD processes and strategies in support of the growth and continuous improvement of the PODD; - Collate and review market data and make recommendations in relation to specific procurement projects. - Assist in the drafting of operational guidelines, tools and training materials for user departments in relation to Bank policy, processes, procedures and systems advocating compliant solutions and best practice across the organization.   Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications  - Working knowledge of EBRD and/or other MDBs' procurement policies, rules and procedures for the selection of consultants and ability to understand and interpret such documentation; - Knowledge of principles and practices of commercial contracts; - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the areas of expertise. - Skilled in organising, scheduling, planning and co-ordinating own work with a  degree of initiative and judgement, reliability, resourcefulness and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and set priorities, with a good sense of time management and the ability to re-organise workload when faced with changing priorities; - Numeric and Concern for Accuracy, proven numeric ability with the capacity to ensure a high degree of accuracy and quality in work delivered is essential; - Results Orientation, self-motivated individual able to set goals and priorities; - Communication Skills, ability to communicate at all levels, both in written and verbal formats.  Proven report writing and drafting skills as well as a pleasant and efficient telephone manner; - Interpersonal Skills, able to understand, respect and respond appropriately, using tact, patience and diplomacy, to the  behaviour, concerns and motives of counterparts (internal client and external suppliers); - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with discretion, and instill trust in counterparts; - Team Player, committed to supporting the achievements of PODD's mission and objectives and the willingness to put the goal of the Department before personal goals, and build effective, cooperative relationships with immediate team members to foster an efficient  approach based on mutual knowledge sharing; - Acting with fiduciary responsibility and integrity;   What is it like to work at the EBRD?
